Fore School of Management offers eight courses at PG, certificate and doctoral levels. Additionally, online certificate programmes are offered to students for their skill enhancement. Admission to Fore School of Management courses is entrance-based. FORE School of Management concluded its PGDM placements 2022. The highest CTC offered was INR 23.5 LPA and the average package stood at INR 14.04 LPA. Curriculum of Fore School Delhi

The curriculum of the PGDM at FORE School of Management is an outcome of benchmarking against the best in the world, and continuous review by the faculty in concert with practitioners from industry, alumni, and students. The content and design of courses are directed towards developing managers who (i) have holistic and deep knowledge of their functional specialization along with the appreciation of its role in the value proposition of the firm; (ii) are industry-ready due to understanding of concepts, frameworks and models steeped in the context of practice; (iii) and have sustainable employable competencies suffused with learning through cutting-edge courses that are contemporaneous as well as futuristic.

In the two years of the programme, students have to undergo both core and elective courses. These courses are an eclectic mix of foundational, perspective building, tools and techniques oriented, and functional courses. The core courses provide rigorous grounding in the discipline of management and the understanding of business in their proper relief. The core courses are taught in the First year, which is divided into three Terms (a Term is typically of 10 weeks of classes and at most 2 weeks of examinations). Elective courses begin from Term-3 onwards. Thus, while Term-1 and Term-2 have only core courses, Term-3 have both core and elective courses. The elective courses allow students to choose and develop proficiency in their Area of Specialization.

After the first year programme, students are required to undertake 8-10 weeks of Summer Internship in a public or private corporate organization. The successful completion of the Summer Internship Project (SIP) is a mandatory requirement for the completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Summer Internship is expected to provide students powerful managerial insights with regard to business problems, understanding of management concepts in the bedrock of industry practices, and refinement of knowledge acquired in the classroom.

The second year of the programme, from Term-4 to Term-6 consists only of elective courses. These electives comprise courses offered by different Areas, courses of independent study, exchange programmes, and complementary International Immersion Programme (IIP).

The International Immersion Programme is a complementary part of the full time course curriculum that is held after Term-3, for students to have an exposure to international business scenario and global best practices in their respective area of specialization. The immersion involves 15 hours of in-class course in an elective of choice along with industrial and corporate visits at any one of the international partner institutions abroad. The credits earned in the IIP accrue in Term-6.

PGDM Course Eligibility Criteria at Fore School Delhi

Participants for the PGDM program may be from any discipline such as Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education. Fresh graduates, as well as candidates with relevant work experience, are welcome to apply. The eligibility criteria for PGDM courses slightly vary in different institutes, keeping the main requirements the same:

To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Program, the participants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for admission to postgraduate programs.
At premier universities such as IIM, a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 should have been achieved at the graduation level.
There is no set age limit for taking the PGDM course.
The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent.
The applicants to the PGDM programme are selected based on the past academic performance in 10th, 12th, and graduation; CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score; written test; essay writing; group discussion; extempore, and personal interview. Appropriate weightage is given to work experience of the applicants.

How to Get Admission for PGDM at Fore School Delhi?

Admission to PGDM can be done in two ways:

direct admission, and securing valid scores in PGDM Entrance Exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, SNAP, CMAT, ATMA.

Once the results are out, institutes will release their cut-off. Candidates securing the cut-off scores become eligible for Group Discussion/Personal Interview/Written Ability Test.

Direct Admission/Merit-based Admission

Several universities provide admissions to students on a first-come, first-served basis.
Candidates need to submit the application to the colleges or universities based on their preference and interest in which they want to get admission.
Students should score at least 50% in their graduation from any discipline.
Individuals having some work experience between 1-3 years will be preferred.
Students can also take admission from the management quota or Institute level quota seats into private MBA colleges with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their bachelor’s.
