1. What types of International Exchange Program (IEP) are available at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management?

Ans. KJ Somaiya Institute of Management offers three types of exchange programs to MBA students at foreign membership universities:

• International Semester Exchange Program (ISEP) : 3-5 months
• International Immersion Program (IIP): 1 week to 2 weeks
• Research Internship

1. Who can apply for an International Semester Exchange Program at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management?

Ans. Students who are studying an MBA program at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, are eligible for an ISEP. Applicants must have done a minimum of two trimesters before they apply for ISEP. Students of 3rd or 6th trimesters are advised to go for ISEP.

Q. Is it compulsory to stay in hostel in KJ Somaiya?

Ans. No, it is not compulsory to stay in the hostel. However, it is preferred and most students do reside in the hostel. The infrastructure of the KJ Somaiya hostel is well-managed and there are rooms available on a triple and double sharing basis in the hostel.

The nomination process for the summer semester starts in August/September and the application process to participate in ISEP needs to be duly completed before the end of October.
